Pixar’s Troubled “Soul” | The New Yorker

This reviewer completely misses the mark by thinking that the movie "Soul" is about race relations. (It is really about finding meaning in life.). He refers to the soul "22" as a middle age white woman, which she is not. She is an pre-born soul who by all appearances eventually ends up in China or India. (That's like half the world if you include some of the nearby countries.)

I really liked the movie.

Best wishes,
