This is the equivalent of you buying a business with a loan where you put 10% down and borrow the rest. The difference is that it is possible that some investment firms are somehow hurting their investors. According to the video, they could be overpromising and underdelivering and are not transparent.
However, this Youtube page seems to be pretty far left.
Investment firms are not in the business of making their investments go bankrupt.
However, there seems to be corruption everywhere, so it is possible.
