I do not think that we should be tearing down statues unless those statues were put there for over racist reasons. In some cases, it is not clear, and maybe some statues should come down. However, this country fought a terrible war with two sides, and part of our history is those people on both sides who fought that war. We should not try to erase that history. We should instead use these statues as a teaching tool about our history and the reasons why that war was fought.
