I am a little bit uncomfortable with the verdict because reportedly Ahmaud Arbery tried to grab the gun that killed him. It appears that the motive of the men convicted was to make a citizen's arrest and not to hunt down and kill a black man. Ahmaud Arbery had five times trespassed on property that had been burglarized.
The video perhaps demonstrates how emotion decided this case.
If I am wrong, I'll be happy to look at the evidence to the contrary.
The lesson learned here is to never put yourself in a position where you might have to use a gun.
