What bothers me about this political rant is that both people and utilities will use renewables if they are more economical. As Sabine Hossenfelder pointed out in the video called, "The Big Problem With Solar Power", that isn't necessarily true. It is not some right wing conspiracy.
Having solar on your roof doubles the cost of a roof replacement, and can damage your roof. I would rather let the utility company manage the solar panels, unless solar tiles become economical.
Reportedly, we are running out of most fossil fuels by the year 2100. We have roughly 45 years of oil reserves remaining. It is inevitable that fossil fuels will become more expensive, making renewables more cost competitive.
