Most Americans can't understand why Israel has decided to conduct such a ferocious counterattack to Hamas' attack on them. This doesn't show American's concern Hamas or the Muslim world. It shows our naivety about the Arab world. While we worry about the next "critical" social issue such as personal pronouns, safe spaces, nose rings, hair dye, climate change and Trump; the rest of the world thinks in terms of live or die. Americans fail to realize 1/3 of the world's population search for animal dung and flammable items to heat their homes and water. We have carried complaining to a fine art and the rest of the world is tired of hearing our whining/whimpering over every little thing.
